In 2025 the Lutheran House is Celebrated Its 100th Anniversary! On Sunday, July 20th, 2025, the Lutheran Chautauqua Association hosted a service of Celebration and Rededication followed by refreshments and fellowship. Throughout the 2025 season special presentation boards in the Lutheran House 1st Floor Gathering space featured the history of the Lutheran House from 1925 to today. A special litany, written by Pastor Ann Schmid highlighted our anniversary and it featured "Lead Us Lord" an anthem for SATB choir composed by Kurt Johnson. This litany was offered during our regular weekly Sunday morning worship. Click here see and hear a video of "Lead Us Lord". Throughout the season guests and visitors enjoyed special 100th Anniversary cupcakes during our regular Tuesday afternoon social hours in addition to the regular treats offered at that time. Our 100th Anniversary Store is still open! Some items are available online while others are available for donation at the Lutheran House. |
